About Landmark 81
The Landmark 81 is the 14th tallest building on earth. It is located at Vinhomes Central Park, Phường 22, Bình Thạnh, Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
Atkins (British construction firm) designed the building and ARUP (multinational construction firm, headquartered in London) erected the building. Also, CotecCons, Aurecon (South African and Australian firm) and Mace (British firm) served as the services engineers.
Groundbreaking of the site was in 2014; construction started in 2015 and finished in 2018. Inauguration of the building happened on 26 July 2018.
The building has a total floor area of Two hundred and forty-one thousand, square meters (241,000 m2). It also has eighty-one (81) floors, with four hundred and fifty (450) rooms. The building is surpassed in height by the Lakhta Center (13th tallest building on earth) – whose height is 462 meters, by only 0.8 meters.
